He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Gertrude Hoff Pugh and Arthur James Pugh, Sr.; his sisters, Joann Hoff "Jan" and Mary Sue "Sue"; his son Greg Pugh (Aileen Pugh); Jack, Karen Hubacher, Art, Ed, Carla Hubacher, Sarah, Martha, Matt, Anna and David. He was also cherished by Papa Jay always gave the grandchildren.
For the final few years of his life, Jay devotedly took care of Sharon as she began to suffer from memory loss associated with Dementia and Alzheimer disease.
