She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hays and Anna Hays (Rectenwald); and her siblings, Bill Hays, Shirley Laur, Carol Gatz Rooney and Sandra Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Valarie Tassari (Michael); her granddaughters, Angela and Maria Tassari (Aleksa Ostojich); her sister Jacqueline Komidar (John); and her sister-in-law Jean Hays. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
