He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorothy Blahut (Cindrich); and his sibling Catherine Vogt. He is survived by: his children, Tina Blahut, Patty Mizgorski and Mark Blahut (Michele); his grandchild Amy Brown (George); his great grandchildren, Tatum, Berlyn and Elijah; and his siblings, Patricia Ault, Regis Blahut and Paul Blahut. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
