With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Mervis (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Abe Mervis and Alan Zatman; and her brothers, Donald Lascher (late Theresa) and Norman. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Mervis Watson, MD (David Katzin), Jana L. Kahn (David) and Scott Mervis (Mary); her sister Marcia Garland (Tony); and her great grandchild Myla Mervis-Fuchs.
