It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Nelson (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Minturn, Arkansas, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Doores and Myrtle H Doores (Starr); and her husband Kenneth Nelson of Chanute. She is survived by: her children, Charles Nelson, Christine Swiger, Karen Nelson and Beth Clarke of Toronto, KS.

Due to Covid 19 a private family service will be held, however the family plans to have a public Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
