He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Huwar and Linda Kifer Huwar; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth White Flaherty. He is survived by: his spouse Meg Flaherty Huwar; his children, Nathan B. Huwar and Anna E. Huwar; his siblings, Mike Huwar (Judy) and Laura Matarazzo (John); his stepfather Arthur Masneri; his stepbrothers, David Masneri (Shannon) and Kevin Masneri (Emma); his father-in-law John M. Flaherty, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, John M. Flaherty, Jr. (Jennifer) and Katie Flaherty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
