She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel R. Toomey; her parents, Albert Madl and Anna Madl; and her sister Sandra Zabierowsky (Jeff). She is survived by: her children, Diane M. Schell (Marty) and Reverend Daniel A. Toomey; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Earnest (Mark), William Schell (Jackie), Erik Donatelli, Crystal Frihart (Eric) and Jason Schell (Sheri). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces who are like her sons and daughters, and great-nephews and great-nieces who are like her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. (3552 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Cyril of Alexandria Church (3854 Brighton Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Side Catholic Cemetery (204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).
