He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Katie Melzer; his siblings, Don Ansell and Dee Arndt; and his grandson Patrick Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Sondra (Logan); his brother Bob; his daughters, Arlene of Connecticut and Dianne Janssen (Ron) of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Stacey Cypher-Heaven, Amanda Cypher and Josh Barnes.
