With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Gilkey (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 23, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandchild Justin Schmalsteig (Ann); and his sibling Thomas. He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy; his children, Carrie, Kathleen, John Gilkey (Debi) and Barbara Gilkey-Walters (Jack); his grandchild John Gilkey Jr.; his siblings, Patricia Roman (Joseph), John, Jack, Paul and James; his sibling-in-law Carol; and also Dot. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
