He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sharon A. Schlick; his children, William Powell (Traci), Kristy Breisinger (Ryan) and Daniel Powell (Samantha); his grandchildren, Morgan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Austin, Madison, Briella and Aiden; his parents, Charles Schlick and Catherine Schlick; his parent-in-law Marcella Schiffhauer; and his siblings, Cathy Turocy (Rich), Raymond Schlick (Debby), Maryann Heaps (Steve) and Charlene Kilvanick. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
