He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Jane Starta (Jackson). He is survived by: his children, Daniel G. Starta Jr (Theresa), Christopher D. Starta (Mary), Martin V. Starta, Sr. (Leesa) and Mary Ann Shinsky (David); his grandchildren, Ryley, Logan, Kayla, Eric, Martin Jr. (Natalie), Samantha (Wayne), Jessica, Jackson and Layne; and his great grandchildren, Martin, III and Tobias.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society.
