With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Freedman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Freedman of Pittsburgh; his daughters, Lori Freedman of Doylestown, PA and Lisa Freedman Shaffer (Glen Shaffer) of San Jose, CA; and his grandchildren, Nathan Lalli, Sophie Lalli and Maya Shaffer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Neuroscape at UCSF.
