He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Winter and Marie Winter; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Winter (Batista); his children, Anna Marie Otto (Robert), David E. Winter and Joseph J. Winter; his siblings, Raymond Winter, Lenny and John Winter; and his grandchildren, Bryan Crowe and Melanie Ciarallo (Vinnie).
