He is survived by: his wife Loretta J. Kowalecki (Nadolny); his children, Christine Kowalecki (David), Jean Kowalecki, Julie White (Michael C.), Donald J. Kowalecki (Jennifer), Ann Kowalecki (Colin), Amy Kowalecki, Michael, Sarah, Lucy and Sally; and his siblings, Virginia Michaelowski, Dorothy Miksan, Thomas Zielinski (Albert Kowalecki) and Theresa Mydolowski (Francis Zielinski). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Donald's name to charity of choice.
