He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; and his child Valerie Geiger (Ron). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Vachino, Gayle D'Alessandro (Dan), Ed Vachino (Susan) and Tony Vachino (Brenda); his grandchildren, Adam D'Alessandro (Alyssa), Jonathan D'Alessandro, Christine Tabor (Tom), Elise Chrzastek (Greg), Stephanie Bailey (Ricky), Samantha Vachino and Lauren Geiger; and his great grandchildren, Trent, Trevor, Tori D'Alessandro, Henry and Evelyn Tabor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
