He was predeceased by: his child Bruce Appleby (Carol); and his grandchild Brad Appleby. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis D. Appleby; his children, Karen Kane (Rand) of Irwin and Wendy Tarletsky (Mark) of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Zachary Appleby, Beth Woolwine, Holly Edwards and Emily Tarletsky; and his sibling-in-law Marcia Schulze.
