We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 94, Edward Downing (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen "Babe" Downing (Wowk); and his son Edward J. Downing. He is survived by: his children, Eileen Bearer (John) and Dale R. Downing (Patti); and his grandchildren, Justin, Johnny, Chelsey and Shane. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
