He was predeceased by: his sister Anna Duffy (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Elva E. Silay (Cerny); his children, Michael (Lorain), Thomas (Sue) and Ronald Silay (Donna); his grandchildren, Erika (David), Jeremy, Andrew, Leah and Caroline; his great grandchild David Christy III; his siblings, Catherine Mancuso (late Mike), Mary Zelem (Mike), George Silay, Elizabeth Garritan (Louis), William Silay and Agnes Grega (Ed); and his sister-in-law Rosemary Silay (late William). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
