He was predeceased by: his wife Angie Smyers (Michiko); and his sibling Thomas Smyers, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Dan Smyers (Patty), Audrey Bezilla (Chuck), Doug Smyers (Eileen), Diane Carson (Dave) and Andrea Diez (Dave); his grandchildren, Dan, Austin, Justin, Adam, Mark, Aileen, Serena, Sam, Michael, Brian, Chelsea, Michelle and Melissa; and his sisters, Virginia Cole and Barbara Tennyson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
