He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore J. Karsin and Ann Kostik Karsin; his grandson Joseph Longobardi; and his brother Donald M. Karsin. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Ann Kilgore; his brother-in-law John Brezarich; his children, Sheryl Longobardi (Louis), Donald Karsin (Dena), Kristyn Karsin (Hank Chavez) and Tammy Buffington (Nate); his grandchildren, Nicholas Longobardi, Leanna Longobardi, Kaitlyn Weismann (Zach), Alan Hartwick (Taylor Rezzetano), Corey Weir and Nathan Daniel Buffington; his great grandchild Ava Mae Hartwick; and his sister Karen Brezarich (John).
