He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Schneider and Catherine Schneider; his brothers, William Schneider and Paul Schneider; his sister-in-law Earleen Schneider; and his son-in-law Kenneth Saffer.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Ann Smith (Phil), Edward Schneider, Jr. (Diane), Jane Callahan, Nancy Hunt (Jeff), David Schneider (Bonnie) and Laura Saffer; his siblings, Catherine Murphy (Jack) and Kenneth Schneider; and his sisters-in-law, Valeta Schneider and Catherine Schneider. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
