It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Benckart of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Blach and Clara Blach; and her husband Daniel H. Benckart, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah Benckart (Shaun Joseph), Melissa Simon (Matt), Gregory Benckart, Daniel Benckart, III, Elizabeth Severs (Evan), Carolyn Benckart, Andrew Benckart and Frank Benckart; and her great grandchildren, Eliza and Henry.
Due to the current pandemic there will be a private burial on September 13, 2020.
