Emil Joseph Bonavita III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Emil Joseph Bonavita III of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Emil Jr. The; and his friends, EJ, Blair, Phil, Alex, Chris, Pat, Jay, Rox and Julie.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael and Christopher (Luisa); his mother Marie; and his brothers, James and Michael (Stefanie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (4900 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul Cathedral (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
If desired, memorial donations may be made online in EJ's memory to the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Fund at the University of Michigan.
