She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Chopnak and Elizabeth Chopnak; and her brother Edward. She is survived by: her sister Maria Estelle. She is also survived by cousins, friends and her Sisters in Community. Friends.

Sister Maria Estelle Chopnak, a Sister of Charity of Nazareth, was called to her heavenly home on June 21, 2021 at the age of 83 and in the 67th year of her religious life. Sister entered the Congregation of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity from St. Michael Church in Munhall, PA in 1954.Sr.
