He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. McCarthy Sr. and Catherine McCarthy (Slattery); and his sibling Linda Klueber (McCarthy). He is survived by: his uncle Joe; his sibling's children, Kimberly Klueber (Les Stolarski) of Baldwin, Richard W. Klueber (Tiffany) of West Chester, David Klueber (Stacie) of Baldwin and Kevin Klueber (Aileen Salanga) of Oreland; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brynn, Lacey Klueber, Chase, Chance Klueber and Stephen Stolarski.
