She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Pope and Erma Pope (Stockton); her son Cameron Dwight; and her siblings, Clifton, Dennis, Michael and Beverly.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Kenneth Frye (Kenny) and Dwight Newton; her husband Harris Strozier; her daughter Natisha; her godson Matthew Moore; her siblings, Lois, Sandra, Darnell (Deborah) and Rhonda; her grandchildren, Ashlee, Troy, Isaiah, Tyler and Kyla; and her great grandchildren, Nyla and Lylah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
On December 11, 2020 Gale was ushered to glory to be the Lord at the age of 74 after being in the hospital due to complications of COVID-19.
