He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Nickel and Eleanor Nickel. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Maguire; and his siblings, Kenneth R. (Cara), Thomas P. (late Susan), Robert G. (Faye), Mary Beth Conroy, Patricia L. Lilja and Jane N. Valenta (William). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
