He was predeceased by: his spouse Joye S. Ritenbaugh Pappas; and his sibling James Wise. He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Martin (Joseph), George "Dutch" Pappas, David Pappas (Maryann) and Mark Pappas (Lori); and his sibling Rita A. Miller (late Norman). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
