He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (McArdle); his children, Marci Sterling (John), Bob Firek (Rhonda), Brian Firek (Karin) and Matt Firek; his grandchildren, RaeAnn and Renee Firek; and his siblings, Mary Rose Gupton (John) and David Firek (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
