It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen Christine Mendez (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Eric Alexander Mendez and Nicole Christine Young; and her sisters, Hildegarde Jeanne Boespflug and Abigail Bernice Dunlop.

Donations in Gretchen's name to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and Shih Tzus & Furbabies Small Breed Rescue are welcome and appreciated.
