She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Kappas and Sophia Kappas (Aftanas); her husband Richard W. Thompson; her son Richard W.; and her siblings, Stella Goldbaugh, Mary McFarlane, Marion Smith (Surviving) and James P. Kappas.
She is survived by: her son Gerald "Jerry" Thompson (Maureen); her grandchildren, Jason (Erica), Matthew (Renee), Taylor and Tammy Thompson; her great grandchildren, Waylon, Harper, Braedyn and Alayna Thompson; her sister Helen Bodiford; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth McGivern, Patty Owczarzak (Tom) and Franklin Thompson (Noreen). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
