It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Wassel (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 28, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Daniel Wassel; her parents, George Gurcak and Anna Gurcak; and her sisters, Anna Wall, Margaret Wojciechowski, Sophie Stabryla and Irene Zawicki.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Wassel; her children, Daniel Wassel (Cindy), Anna Marie Caruso (David) and Jerome Wassel (Cynthia); her grandsons, Allen (Tess), Bryan, Erick Wassel, David (Liz), Anthony Caruso (Kelly), Jerome Wassel, III, Jeffrey and Jason Augenstein (Emily); and her great grandchild Capri Ann Caruso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
