It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Pankowski (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl "Gene" Pankowski; and her siblings, Charlotte Glabicki, Paul Damratowski and Leonard Damratowski. She is survived by: her children, Carl J. Pankowski (Charlie Ann), Jan Pankowski of South Fayette, Michael Pankowski (Maureen) of Eastmont and Wilkins Twp; and her grandchildren, Michael Pankowski (Amy), Holly Neske (Ian), Daniel Pankowski, Katherine Heckman (Jeremy) and Kelly. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
