He was predeceased by: his parents, James Adams and Dorothy Mae Adams; his wife Anna Myrie Mebane Adams; his daughter Lois West Griffin; and his brothers, David Copale and Williams G Adams.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Anna Myrie Mebane Adams; his daughters, Tammi Lewis (Robert) of Pittsburgh, PA., Nomeka Webb (Juanita) of Pittsburgh, PA. and Tamni; and his stepchildren, Candice of Washington and Scott of Washington. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
