With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Braham in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Justice William Walter Braham and Selina Whitla Braham; and his sisters, Isabel Braham Pedersen and Jane Vance Braham of Canton, OH.. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Braham; his children, James Whitla Braham, Jr. (Amy), Elizabeth Braham Simons (Bruce), Kathyrn Hossler Braham and Andrew Hall Braham (Jennifer); his grandchildren, James, Michael, Russell, Julia, Grace, Emmerich, Josephine and Juliet; and his siblings, W. Walter Braham, Jr. and James'.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to The Chautauqua Institution as a celebration of his respect for all that he, and his extended family, learned there.
