He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. and LaVerne Higgins, Sr. (Carol L.); his son James P. Higgins, III; and his sibling Thomas Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Higgins (Diane), Donald Higgins (Sharon), Kimberly Boccella (Virgil), Shannon Higgins and Brittany Higgins; and his grandchildren, Cory, Hillary, Ryan, Casey, Taylor, Chelsea, Chad, Dylan, Kyle and Nicole.
