He was predeceased by: his significant other Ruth Anne Holdcroft; and his sister Helen Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Holdcroft Cauley, James P. Holdcroft, Jr. (Sara Maddern Holdcroft) and Kimberly Holdcroft; his siblings, Edward Holdcroft, Margaret Birsic, Mary Lou Roos, Robert, Paul and Daniel Holdcroft; his grandchildren, Kimberly Cauley Eckel (Ryan Eckel) and Fiona Holdcroft Lynch (David Lynch); his great grandchildren, Asher Cauley Eckel, Eliot James Eckel and Sage Ruthanne Eckel; and his pets, Paddy, Buddy and Rusty. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters.
