The passing of JCL Robert Ahlin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ahlin and Elizabeth Ahlin (Lunn); and his brother William Ahlin (Christine). He is survived by: his sister Janice Kircher (Raymond); his sibling's children, William Ahlin (Janice), Joy Hapeman (Leo), Lisa Carryer (Richard), Karen Lee (Anthony), Raymond Kircher and Eileen Ahlin (Matthew Payne); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Ahlin, Laura Ahlin, Adam Lee, Alli Carryer, Sophia Carryer, Erica Lee, Sarah Payne and Rachel Payne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Of the Blessed Trinity Parish (3754 Brownsville Rd, Brentwood, PA 15227).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fr. Ahlin's name may be made to the Blessed Trinity Parish, 3198 Schieck St., Pittsburgh PA 15227.
