He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank S. "Red" and AnnaMarie McCann Steckel. He is survived by: his wife Judy Harkins Steckel; his children, Jennifer Lang (Phil) and Erich Steckel; and his siblings, Vickey Trader (Ron) and Larry Steckel (Diana). He is also survived by 4 grandsons; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
