With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Fried of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 19, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Fried Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Young (Robert) of Ellicott City and Susan Schnelzer (Michael Sr.) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandchildren, Michael Schnelzer, Kathryn Westreicher (Erick), Miles Young and Lauren Young; and her brother Edward W. Wilson (Jane). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
