It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne E. Thompson (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton D. Thompson; her son Brian Thompson; and her sister Mary Ellen Brownlee. She is survived by: her children, Mark Thompson (Rena), Diana Wiggins (Barry), Michael Thompson, David Thompson (Sheila) and Terry Thompson; and her siblings, James J. Shea, Trudie Lotz (John) and Kathleen Steinbeck. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
