It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Higgins (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son John Lance Higgins; his parents, Edward Thomas and Margaret Mary Higgins (Basher); and his brother Michael E. Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Tina Miller (George Wharton), Elizabeth Ann, Geri Lynn VanAuken, Zachary Higgins and Rachel Higgins; his siblings, Patricia J. Higgins, Christine Roesar, Maureen Seifert, Mark Higgins, Joann Casillo and Mary Ann Derr; his close friend Linda Purtell; his nephew David John Bellreng; and also Michael M. Purtell, Jr..
