He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph and Catharine Wain Beloved (Susan); his children, John Charles Wain (Collette), Esther Ruth Wain-Weiss and Rebecca Lillian Wain Cherished (Scott Nye); his grandchildren, Thomas Anthony Weiss, Matthew Jonathan Weiss, Peter James Weiss, Elizabeth Ruth Weiss, John Charles Wain III, Lily Constance Wain, Laurel Faye Wain, Lillyanne Elizabeth Wain-Nye and Charles Scott Wain-Nye; his great grandchildren, Tomas "Tony" Weiss and John Weiss; his brother William Scott Wain (Loretta); his sibling's children, David William Wain (Hay-Wun), Laura Clark (Lynn) and Lydia Conley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian Clark (Demi), Heather Mohler (Nick), Nicole Wain, Ashley Wain, Catharine Wain and Chris Conley; his pet Kit; his former wife Lillian; and also, Maizie Clark, Willa Clark and Hannah Mohler.
