He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Isabelle Como (McLaughlin); his children, Jay DiGiacomo and Joyce Galadyna (late Ken); his grandchildren, Melanie Como Harris (Steve), Jon DiGiacomo (Sarah), Kenny Galadyna, Ashley Galadyna Foley (Paul), Melissa (Steve), Jessica Moore, Carson, Charlotte, Harper, Caroline, Isabel, Elizabeth and Claudia; and his siblings, Antoinette Ricci, Sam DiGiacomo, Rose Zappa, Margaret Platt, Frank DiGiacomo, Anna Godlewski and Unky. He was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.
