He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Engel, Jr. and Martha J Braddock. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Mary O'Leary, John O'Leary, Aaron O'Leary, Amanda Stearns and Scott Willis; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron O'Leary, A. J. O'Leary, Makaylee Stearns, Kaleb Stearns, Zackary Stearns, Barrett Willis and Zoey Willis.
