It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John McWhorter (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Olive Leckman McWhorter. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne McWhorter; his children, Robert McWhorter (Kim) and Jana Zang (Dave); his stepchildren, Jennifer Fusco (Mike) and Michael Hribik (Libby); his grandchildren, Dakota, Raelyn Zang, Hannah McWhorter, Steven Richardson, Aidan McCoy, Lilliana, Viven Fusco, Eliot and Evelyn Hribik; and his former wife Barb McWhorter.
Per his wishes cremation and service will be private. Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life event will be scheduled later this year.
