He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Barringer; and his parents, Charles Barringer and Elizabeth Barringer. He is survived by: his sons, Rick Barringer (Karan) and John Barringer (Saundra); his grandchildren, Amy Brown (Mike), David Barringer (Marget) and Jamie Ross (Phil); his great grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Tanner Brown and Anderson Ross; and his friend Pam McCartney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a private service was held for immediate family members.
