She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Gilbert Krause and Belle Krause; and her sister Trudy Kapner. She is survived by: her brother Paul Krause; her brother-in-law Leonard Kapner; her sons, Nathan Bennett (Jamie), Steven Bennett (Terri Gomez) and David Bennett (Mindy); and her grandchildren, Lexi, Elijah, Isabela, Gabriela, Elizabeth, Gregory, Shayna, Eliana and Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

“In loving memory of Judy Krause Spahr, Judi and Trudy, we went to Whiteman Elementary school and Alderdice High School, we graduated in 1958 as a matter of fact, Dr. Krause was related to me by my grandmother Francis Krause Klein,. I used to visit them at their big house on Asylsborob St in Sq Hill. We were in Girl Scouts together and sometimes when my Dad would pick me up, the twins would each be playing their own baby grand pianosin the front picture windows in the living and dining rooms.”
