It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence H. Geist (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Millvale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Geist and Effie Patterson Geist; and his siblings, Leroy Kremmel, Laura Kremmel Miller, Elizabeth Geist Burke and Mary Geist Kusserow.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lang Geist; his children, Cynthia Geist (Dave Wayne), Catherine Geist (Tracy Neal), Cheryl Geist-Brozell (Eric) and Lawrence J. Geist (Beth); his grandchildren, Molly Brozell, Maxwell Brozell, Sylvie Neal (Laura Selle) and Sophie Wayne; his great grandchild Lillian Brozell; and his siblings, Loretta Bindernagel, Arlene Blaha (Al) and Gerard Geist (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
