It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Mitchell of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mitchell and Clister Mitchell (Lottie Edwards); his child Leslie "Lovey" Green; and his brother James "Jack" Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Laura Mitchell Dendy, Lawrence D. Mitchell (Teena) and Stephen Mitchell (Kimberly); his siblings, Melvin Mitchell, Eleanor McQueen, Louise Hollis, Selma Scott, Dorothy Davenport, Clisterine Dixon, Gladys Coleman Young, Clarence Raphael "Hoodie" Mitchell and Donald "Hobo" Mitchell; his grandchildren, Lawrence DJ Mitchell of Janai, Dendy, Chastity Potter, Taylor Mitchell and Lawrena Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Ariel, Londyn and Charm; and his child Torrence "TJ". He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.
